DERMAL FILLER
Aim to keep the area as clean as possible. Do not apply makeup to the area for at least 24 hours.
Your injector will advise you whether to start massaging and when. If told to massage, use clean hands only.
Apply cold compress to minimise swelling and soreness (use baby wipes from the fridge). Use this as frequently as required. Do not directly ice the area.
Swelling is expected to be at its worst the first evening and following morning post procedure. For most people it will subside in a few days, but mild swelling can remain for up to 10 days.
Paracetamol may be taken for discomfort, but avoid taking any anti-inflammatory drugs such as Ibupofen, Advil, Fish Oil or Ginko (unless medically necessary) for 5 days post treatment, as it may cause increased bleeding or bruising.

COLLAGEN STIMULATOR
It is normal to have some redness, pin prick marks, swelling and possible bruising following the treatment.
Swelling may also appear asymmetrical; this is normal and not an indication of the end result. Natural asymmetries are normal and having treatment with Collagen Stimulators may also exacerbate this if it is your first treatment.
Paracetamol may be taken for discomfort, but avoid taking any anti-inflammatory drugs such as Ibupofen, Advil, Fish Oil or Ginko (unless medically necessary) for 5 days post treatment, as it may cause increased bleeding or bruising.
Bruising can be managed with the application of cool compresses, topical Arnica or Hirudoid cream.
There may be small lumps in the treatment area, these will disappear in the post-treatment phase with the prescribed aftercare massage regime. Please contact the clinic if they do not disappear after 2-3 weeks and following regular massage.
MASSAGE PROTOCOL
Firmly massage the treatment area for 5 minutes, 5 times a day for 5 days. This is mandatory and will affect the results if not performed correctly.
Apply a cool compress to the treatment area (do not apply ice directly to the skin) for 10 minutes every half an hour on the day of treatment.
Avoid any heat-inducing activities for 24 hours such as strenuous exercise, spas, saunas and hot showers.
Avoid pressure on the area for the first 48 hours (sleep on your back if possible, no face down massages).
Avoid alcohol for 24 hours (We prefer patients to abstain from alcohol for 7 days prior and 7 days post-treatment for optimal results).
Avoid active cosmeceutical products (AHAs, retinols, vitamin C) and oil based makeup for 24 hours.
Use a topical treatment to soothe the skin such as Bepanthen or Arnica cream. Use this 3 times/day for the next 7 days.
Avoid facials, waxing, chemical peels, skin needling, Hydrafacial, IPL or laser treatments for 2 weeks after treatment. Please discuss your future treatment plans with your practitioner.
TREATMENT FOLLOW-UP
Collagen Stimulators can take up to 12 weeks for results to become evident due to collagen stimulation. At this time we advise a second treatment session to ensure results last up to 12 months and to ensure full correction of any volume deficit.
No further treatments will be done prior to complete healing and collagen stimulation at 8 to 12 weeks.

PDO Threads
Please do not apply oil-based moisturiser or makeup for the next 24 hours. After that, apply your makeup gently for five days.
When applying makeup, do not use brushes or sponges for two days due to cleanliness. Use clean hands only.
Avoid facial contact with animals or their coats for one week to ensure cleanliness.
Ice may be applied to soothe area of treatment.

These procedures are made to give the skin an intense reaction. It will feel tight, red, hot, itchy, and flaky for several days. Day 2 following treatment, you will experience mild to moderate swelling. The skin is expected to peel and flake for up to 2 weeks.
You must always avoid sun exposure as much as possible.
Do not have any further treatment or procedure (including peels, facials, or microdermabrasion) on the treated area for 30 days following.
While maintaining on Cosmelan 2, discontinue its use for 5 days prior to waxing, and do not restart treatment until 3 days after waxing. Threading can be done normally.

Immediately after the treatment, you will experience slight to moderate erythema (redness of the skin). If you are a long time Retin A or Tretinoin user, the redness might be slightly more pronounced.
The redness will dissipate over time lasting anywhere from a few hours to 24 hours after treatment.
The day after treatment, you should expect a “sandpaper” like texture and feel to your skin. This is the dead skin cells getting ready to “slough off.” The sand papery texture can last anywhere from 3-5 days. Coolsculpting
You may feel some minor discomfort including tenderness to the touch, a deep itch sensation, tingling and numbness.
